The 4th World Conference on Smart Tourism (WCST2026@Da Nang), organized annually by the Association for Smart Tourism (AST), serves as a global platform that brings together academia, industry, government, and international organizations to advance the field of smart tourism. Since its inception, WCST has facilitated the exchange of cutting-edge research, industry best practices, and innovative solutions shaping the future of tourism.

WCST2026 will be hosted at Duy Tân University in Da Nang, Vietnam, from Wednesday, December 16 to Saturday, December 19, 2026. Da Nang—renowned for its cultural vibrancy, coastal landscape, and rapid technological growth—offers an ideal environment for fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration. Under the theme “Synergizing Industry and Academia: Harnessing AI for Transformative Tourism and Hospitality in the Global South”, the conference will examine the evolving tourism and hospitality landscape driven by technological advancement and demographic transitions.

Professors Haiyan Song (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University) and Sang T. Lim (Duy Tan University) will serve as the Conference Co-Chairs of WCST2026, leading the conference together with a team of distinguished researchers and industry experts.
